Butterflies Bulb - Miniature
For this piece I have adapted the “butterflies” design by MC Escher (1898-1972), which I used on my original large and small tower shape.
I wanted to create a small shape that could be held in the palm of the hand, so I created this piece in the shape of an organic bulb to symbolise new growth, just like the butterflies growing inside their nurturing cocoons. When holding this piece it’s like holding a butterfly tenderly in your hands as you explore their amazing forms.
This piece is limited to 25.
